Projects and investments Riverina Intermodal Freight and Logistics
Our Riverina freight and logistics hub provides terminal to port rail services and global forwarding to export markets
Based in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, the Riverina Intermodal Freight and Logistics (RiFL) is a rail hub and siding from the existing inland rail line, the Main Southern Railway. The master siding is over four kilometres long and connected to the ARTC loop line.
We exclusively operate the hub, which provides terminal to port rail services and global forwarding to export markets. It is co-located near several of our other manufacturing and logistics operations including our pulp and paper mill in Tumut.
The hub is opening up greater domestic and international opportunities for the region, particularly for the many food and agricultural producers located here. The Riverina is recognised as the ‘food bowl’ of New South Wales—generating 21% of the state’s agricultural production. Through the hub, we can support businesses export needs, helping capture more value through and growing its reputation as the ‘food bowl’ of Asia.
Transitioning to an inland rail network to deliver more efficient and sustainable transport means we have capacity for trains carrying a volume of containers that would ordinarily require up to 134 trucks.
Import and export to the world

We serve as a gateway, facilitating seamless connections from the Riverina to global markets, fostering efficient trade routes from this vibrant region to the world.
