Visy is kicking off the next stage of its recruitment drive, with more than 100 jobs now open for operators, technicians and tradies at its cutting-edge glass recycling and manufacturing facility in Yatala, Queensland—set to be one of the most advanced of its kind in the world.
“This part of the world is a great place to live and work”, said Mike Woods, Plant Manager of the new facility. “You’ll work on world-class equipment, and we’ll put you through the training you need to be job-ready from day one.”
No prior experience in glass manufacturing is required—Visy is looking for hands-on people who are ready to learn. The company will provide a training program for new starters, with the facility operational in 2026. Successful applicants can gain exposure to industrial systems, building future-ready skills in a fast-evolving industry.
