We launched our 2023 Women in Leadership and Operations (WILO) Networking Program in November this year.
We are thrilled that over 120 of our female team members across Australia, Singapore, Vietnam, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom came together virtually at 9am AEST (yes that meant midnight for the UK) to hear our CEO Mark De Wit take us through the Visy Business Strategy.
WILO aims to support, encourage, and educate all women at Visy. This group reflects the diversity of our business—from operations and engineering to leadership.
Program participants are brought together to network, develop their professional skills, and drive initiatives to promote inclusivity and supportive work environments throughout all our operations.
Initiated by Co-owner Fiona Geminder and supported by Chief Human Resources Officer Amy Walker, the first launch of the WILO program in 2019 had 14 participants. The current WILO Networking Group has over 160 participants and growing!
We are excited to share this journey with those involved.
