As a Re-sort Operator at our glass factory in Sydney’s west, Lynn is responsible for making sure our customers get the best possible glass packaging.
“I make sure that every pallet of glass leaving the facility meets the highest standards. Whether that’s assisting with quality control, verifying or reworking defective pallets, we’re picking up defects and reworking them.”
“Knowing our customers are getting the best brings me great satisfaction.”
She relishes the challenges and loves that no two days are the same.
"Everyone here is multi-skilled," Lynn says proudly, "we can swap and change roles, which keeps things interesting and ensures we maintain high standards."
Visy’s $150 million state of the art investment at Penrith has reaffirmed Lynn’s confidence in Visy.
"The new lines are amazing. They come with advanced quality control features and new cameras, ensuring our customers get the best of the best. It makes me feel even better about working at Visy."
Lynn likes the strong team spirit at Visy.
"We have a great team. We work closely with our manager, and when things need to be done, we all pull together to make it happen. It's a very supportive environment."
Given her 19 years in glass manufacturing, Lynn plays an important role training people in quality assurance.
"I love training new people and watching them learn.”
