As a Key Account Manager, Rose helps customers find smarter, more sustainable packaging for their product. From managing key customer relationships to identifying new business opportunities, she works closely with customers to deliver innovations that meet their evolving product needs.

“I partner with customers to develop tailored packaging solutions, whether through carton redesigns, improving packaging, or the development of new packaging to meet their evolving needs.”

For Rose, joining Visy was more than a career move, it was an opportunity to contribute to an Australian success story with a meaningful purpose.

“I love that Visy is an Australian-owned company and the values it represents. As you learn more about the business, you gain a deeper appreciation for the significant impact Visy has on sustainability, recycling, and the circular economy, as well as the positive contribution it makes to the environment and local communities.”

That sense of purpose is matched by a culture of collaboration and support, something Rose says stands out every day.

“There is a strong support network across both my team and the wider business. No matter how busy people are, they’re always willing to help and share their knowledge.”

She also values the variety and growth opportunities at Visy.

“Every day is different, which keeps the role interesting and engaging, and there's always something new to learn. Just when you think you've seen it all, a new challenge or opportunity comes along and teaches you something different.”

One of Rose’s career highlights has been participating in the Seafood Directions Trade Show, where she worked closely with Visy’s Innovation Team to see how we can offer more sustainable packaging in the seafood industry.

Looking ahead, she’s excited about helping drive the transition away from expanded polystyrene (EPS) packaging towards more sustainable alternatives.

“Replacing EPS in the seafood industry with Visycell will be one of the highlights of my career. It is rewarding to be part of an initiative to reduce environmental impact and create a more sustainable future for the industry.”

For anyone considering a career at Visy, Rose’s advice is simple.

“It's a great place to learn and grow in Australian manufacturing. Visy offers plenty of opportunities to develop your skills, take on new challenges, and build a rewarding career if you're willing to learn and embrace new experiences.”
