As a Project Manager in our Build Run Repair team, based at our paper mill on Gibson Island, Queensland, Alessandra plans and delivers multi-disciplinary projects. She also coordinates stakeholder engagement to align objectives across many different streams of the business, including people, HSE, automation, operations and more.
She was driven to join Visy as an opportunity to grow her career.

Alessandra enjoyed working on the upgrade to the paper mill, commissioned in 2025. She has also been involved with Visy’s Women in Leadership and Operations Program, which supports and develops women working at Visy.
Currently, she is involved in preparing Visy’s new site—our glass recycling and remanufacturing site in Yatala, Queensland—for operations. On this project, she works in logistics operational readiness, focusing on the automated storage and retrieval system warehouse.
It has been great watching the project come to life, she says.
“It’s been exciting to watch such a large-scale development come together and being part of it feels very rewarding.”
