Visy Logistics has partnered with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) to support its linehaul transport requirements across selected Australian lanes.
Visy Logistics operates a comprehensive linehaul fleet and established national transport network. This capability enables Visy Logistics to provide CCEP with reliable capacity, operational flexibility and access to modern transport equipment.
To support CCEP’s requirements, Visy Logistics is adding new Volvo FH600 prime movers with Euro 6 engines and 36-pallet B-Double trailer combinations to its already extensive national linehaul fleet. Visy Logistics will use these new prime movers in 36-pallet B-Double trailer combinations. Compared with 34-pallet configurations, they increase carrying capacity by 6% to reduce the number of truck movements required to transport the same volume of freight.
In addition, these new Euro 6 prime movers reduce fuel use by 5% compared with previous-generation Euro 5 vehicles.
Selected trailer combinations will also feature dedicated CCEP livery, proudly showcasing the partnership between the two businesses as they travel across Australia.
